The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) is searching for sources under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act, as amended. The requirement is Information Technology, general support services and will be done under SIC 7379. The requirement is for specialized engineering, high-end technical application expertise. The specialized engineering requirement includes evaluating emerging technologies through feasibility studies, comparative analysis, requirement definition and implementation plans. Specialized engineering also includes researching current methodologies and configurations, recommending enhancements to resolve problems, and developing improvements to current capabilities. High-end technical application expertise includes supporting state of the art graphics, computer aided design, and web based tools for developing command presentations and information dissemination of communications and intelligence products. The security clearance level required for this requirement will be at alevel of Secret, some task orders may require access to sensitive compartmented information (SCI) at the Top Secret level. It is anticipated that a indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity, five year, cost type contract will be awarded with a minimum of $500,000.00 and a maximum of $5,000,000.00.
