The 3rd Contracting Squadron, Elmendorf AFB., AK has a requirement for the Operation and Maintenance of the Alaska Radar System (ARS) located at various sites throughout the state of Alaska. This solicitation will not be procured in accordance with FAR Part 12 (Commercial Practices). Estimated release date of the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be on or about 13 April 99.The response to industrie comments can be found on the 3rd Contracting Homepage E-Mail: www.elmendorf.af.mil/Units/3CONS/SpecSol.htm. The Site Visit will be conducted on 19 April through 22 April 99 at Elmendorf AFB. and various Government locations. Those offerors wishing to attend the Site Visit must notify the points of contact no later than 16 April 99, 4:00PM and provide a certified check made payable to the US Treasury in the amount of $1825.00 per person attending. The Preproposal Conference will be held on 27 April 99, at the Elmendorf AFB. Officers Club at 8:00 AM.
