Smith, Contracting Officer, Construction Contracting Section, at 202-307-0954 The Federal Bureau of Prisons is modifying Contract JX00c-114, Parsons Infrastructure and Technologies, to provide Construction Management Support Services (CMSS) for a period of fifty-two weeks to complete the construction of the Federal Medical Center located near our existing institution in Butner, North Carolina. The CMSS Firm will provide support services that include (but are not limited to): monthly progress reports; Critical Path Method (CPM) charts, review of the contract documents and cost estimates; inspection services to verify the contractor's schedules, payment requests, and construction progress; plus maintain project files, inspection records, testing records and job diaries. Additionally, the firm must provide recommendations, estimates and evaluations of change orders; monitor submittals and construction costs; provide analysis and recommendations related to contract disputes and claims; and provide other services required for a successful administration of the major contract.
