CORRECTION: The purpose of this modification is change the requirement from a 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns to a competitive 100% set-aside for the Small Business Administration's (SBA) 8(a) program concern. The Government also anticipates that this requirement will be placed on the Procurement List under the provisions of the Javits Wagner-O'Day Act (41 U.S.C. 4646-48c). However, under Commercial Cost Comparison (C3) Solicitation Procedures, offers submitted in response to this solicitation will be reviewed in conjunction with the price submitted under the provision of the JWOD Program. If the JWOD price is more than 15% of the otherwise successful offeror's price, an exception to the Government's mandatory use of the Procurement List will be granted and award will be made to the successful commercial offeror. The solicitation will be issued on or about May 12, 1999, with a tentative closing date on or about July 8, 1999. Offerors are requested to resubmit requests for a copy of the solicitation document unless the initial request indicated you were a small business concern expressly certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program.
