This project consists of reconstructing Black Canyon Wilderness 10.59 miles; included are 12 sections of relocated trail totaling 0.93 mile and 0.93 mile of trail obliteration for the abandoned existing trail. Work consists of clearing and grubbing, excavation, restoration, logging out, rock cairns, water bars, drain dips, rock fords, amoring, underdrains and rock retaining wall. The full length of the trail is located in wilderness, no power tools can be used. There are dispersed sites for camping. Project area is located approximately 80 miles east of Prineville, Oregon.
