The General Services Administration (GSA) has a need to procure construction services for limited modernization at Federal Office Building 10B, located at 600 Independence Avenue, SW, Washington, DC, Solicitation No. GS-11P99MQC0052. The construction will consist of: tenant alterations; sprinkler installation; elevator upgrades; major mechanical and electrical replacement and upgrades and structural repairs. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded for the services. The estimated cost range for the project is more than $10,000,000.00. The contractor must provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies and equipment, except as otherwise provided and must plan, schedule, coordinate and assure effective performance of all construction to meet GSA and client agency requirements. Competitive, source selection procedures will be used in accordance with FAR Part 15. Award will be made on the basis ofthe lowest price technically acceptable proposal. This solicitation is not set-aside for small businesses. However, this procurement is being made under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Women-Owned Businesses are encouraged to submit a bid and so state that they are Women-Owned. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for this procurement is 1542 and the small business size standard is $17,000,000.00.
