The Naval Research Laboratory intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competitive basis with DPIX Incorporated for X-ray Active Matrix Flat Panel Imagers. The specifications required an x-ray detection panel which must have three removable phosphor screens, large area, and low noise (a2500 e). They must use indirect x-ray detection, where the x-ray energy is deposited in a phosphor. The phosphor must be in the form of a removable screen.
