Due to operational restrictions of the vessel, the geographical area for bidders is limited to the area from northern Maine to Key West Florida, on the eastern seaboard. Yards having a Maritime Administration and or a U.S. Navy Master Lump Sum Repair Contract, and all other responsible sources offering a contractor facility within the defined area, are invited to submit a bid which shall be considered by the Government.
