Price or Lloyd McGill, 202/287-3238 The Smithsonian Institution is seeking proposals to furnish all management, supervision, manpower, materials, supplies and equipment to plan, schedule, coordinate, and ensure effective performance of unarmed guard services for the 1999 Smithsonian Folklife Festival. Security needs for the Festival begin approximately two weeks before the Festival opens (June 10, 1999) and end about five days after the Festival closes (July 9, 1999). Security services will begin at 5:00 p.m. and end at 8:00 a.m. each day. The estimated quantity of man-hours needed is 2,700 hrs.
