Remove concrete covers from concrete manhole pump stations. Build and install new concrete covers with metal door (requires concrete work). Clean pump stations. Remove existing pumps, piping floats, wiring and accessories from the interior of the pump stations. Install new pumps, piping, fittings, floats, wiring, and valves in the interior of the pump stations. Excavate new buried, valves and fittings, then backfill and compact area. Pull new wires through existing buried conduit and connect to existing control panels. Work inside the concrete manhole pump station is permit required confined space entry. Once the air is tested and confirmed clean, work area should become a confined work space area. The four pump stations are located on Okatibbee Lake, near Meridian, MS.
