This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items issued by the Contracting Office, Offutt AFB, NE and prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations document (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation number F25600-99-T0421 is being issued as a request for proposal (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-10. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3669 _ Communication Equipment, Not Elesewhere Classified (NEC), and the small business size standard is 750 employees. The government intends to issue a purchase order for 907 each Dector, Carbon Monoxide, Digital, 110V AC, Peak level memory, recalls the highest danger level. In the event of a power outage, the battery back up operates the unit for a minimum of four hours. MFG: NightHawk P/N: 900-0071, QTY: 907 Ea. NO SUBSTITUTIONS ALLOWED.
