The cards must be ruggedized and must be able to execute the DDS specified secure erase function that is proprietary to Orbital. The Navy plans to procure up to 1000 units, set up as a base requirement for an estimated quantity of 200 units, with options to purchase an additional 800 units. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Note 22 applies.
