The system will be used to monitor and document the correct performance of laboratory equipment such as: refrigerators, freezers, liquid nitrogen freezers, autoclaves, ovens, water baths, incubators, carbon dioxide incubators, laminar flow hoods, anaerobic chambers, etc. The system must be able to measure the parameters of: temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide concentration, oxygen concentration, and air flow. The system will be installed in phases and therefore must be expandable. When fully installed, the system will monitor approximately 1000 independent units. This is a total small business set-aside, firm fixed price procurement. The solicitation to be released on or about April 30, 1999.
