The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to procure, as a competitive 8(a) set-aside, automated information systems and infrastructure support services, for the Naval Reserve Information Systems Office, New Orleans, LA. Contractor support is required for documentation, independent verification and validation of software products, testing, client and office automation, operating and maintaining a Systems Management Center, installation, operation, maintenance, micro repair, help desk assistance, management of computer systems whose major components include general purpose computer systems, communication networks, and logistics. Service is required for a twelve-month base period, to commence 1 October 1999, and option provisions for four consecutive twelve-month option periods. The level of effort is estimated to be 215,400 hours each twelve-month period. A cost plus fixed fee term type contract is intended. The applicable standard and industrial code (SIC) is 7379, size standard $18 million. The solicitation will require the submission of technical and cost proposals. The solicitation will require written past performance, personnel resources and resume information; and oral presentations of technical approach, management approach and corporate experience.
