Provide Magnetic Resonance Imaging/Mammography Service -- The Contractor shall provide care at 89th Medical Group, Malcolm Grow Medical Center, Bldg. 1046 & 1050 Andrews AFB, MD, also referred to as the _medical treatment facility_ (MTF) herein. Contractor shall furnish all labor, management, supervision, consultation, reports, training, and administrative support personnel necessary to perform Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Mammography Services. Contractor tasks include: Administrative Support, Film Management, Documentation, Training of Government Personnel, Operation maintenance and minor/major repair of radiology equipment, Management of supplies and equipment, and Contingency Support. The MTF_s Diagnostic Imaging Modalities element consists of a Magnetic Resonance Imaging facility with one magnet and a three-room mammography department. The contract is being awarded under Commercial Practices FAR part 12 procedures. The period of performance is twelve months with four (4) option years fora total of five (5) years. The Government reserves the right not to exercise the option. This acquisition is set-aside for 100% Small Business, SIC Code is 8071 size standard is $5 million. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation package will be posted on Electronic Posting System (EPS) which can be accessed at www.eps.gov the contractor is responsible for obtaining the solicitation and all amendment off the EPS Webb page. Solicitation will be available on or about 8 May 99.
