This is a sole source requirement for Rolls Royce engine personnel to provide skilled technicians to assist 3d Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Aircraft Group 13, located at MCAS Yuma, Yuma, AZ in engine production and engineering support in the Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 13 (MALS 13) Power Plant Division. The approximate service date will be for the period of 30 April 99 through 30 Sept. 99. The Contractor will provide all labor required to perform the assisned tasks. All services to be performed under this contract shall be as per OPNAV 4790.2 series and shall be performed by technicians who are thoroughly trained and knowledgeble in operation and maintenance of the Rolls Royce F402-RR-406 and F402-RR-408 engines as specified in the individual skill classifications. Power Plants Contractor Maintenance and Training (PPCMAT) technicians and the Engineering Representative will be tasked by the MALS-13 Power Plants Officer (PPO) to support the division's production schedule, training requirements, and technical engineering assistance requirements. PPCMAT personnel will work side-by-side with intermediate level technicians and provide training to Power Plants personnel under the supervision of the MALS-13 PPO. 3D Marine Aircraft Wing reserves the right to screen personnel nominated for use by the contractor supporting this program.
