SYMPOSIUM AND TECHNOLOGY EXPO, MAY 11-12, 1999 <DESC> The Fort Monmouth C4IEW&S Team -- MG Robert Nabors, CG CECOM and Fort Monmouth, MG David Gust, PEO IEW&S and BG Steven Boutelle, PEO C3S -- will co-chair this symposium which will serve as a digitization In Process Review (IPR) for industry and government. This comprehensive symposium will present "the status of our current digitization efforts and provide a blueprint of the way ahead" as we discuss plans and processes for scaling the architecture, equipping, training and fighting our 21st Century digitized force. The expansive technology exposition will focus on those technologies that support our ability to field this force. Approximately one year away from the First Digitized Division Everything in Place Date, the MOUT ACTD Culminating Demo, the Joint Contingency Forces (JCF) AWE and the IOC for the Strike Force HQs, the 1999 AUSA Fort Monmouth Symposium will serve to highlight the processes and plans for expanding digitization efforts throughout the force, to include the Army's focus on Light Forces and the Strike Force. The program panels will be highlighted by participating ABCS, IEW&S and other Program Managers; senior personnel from CECOM and other R&D Labs; and senior leadership from the Operational, Materiel and Combat Development communities of the Army.
