Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment,
transportation, supervision and disposal necessary to make repairs to
the main pier and turnaround area at the USCG Academy, New London, CT
(New London County). The work includes removal and disposal of existing
deteriorated timber bearing and fender piles, timber pile caps
(clamps), sections of timber curbing, timber stringers, timber deck
planks, lead or copper pile head caps and timber bracing; installation
of new timber bearing and fender piles, timber pile caps, sections of
timber curbing, timber stringers, timber deck planks, copper pile head
caps, and timber bracing including associated fasteners, shims,
splices, etc.; and, the tightening of bolts fastening existing bracing
and mooring fittings, along with related incidental work. Estimated
cost of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. SIC code is
1629. Performance time is 90 days from receipt of Notice to Proceed.
