NAVAIR intends to award this effort to McDonnell Douglas Corp. (MDC), a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of the Boeing Company, P.O. Box 516, St Louis, MO 63166-0516. MDC is the designer and manufacturer of the SLAM ER missile and the only known firm with the necessary knowledge, data, equipment, facilities, and experience to perform this effort within the required time frame.
