219-6445 The United States Department of Labor's Occupational Safety
and Health Administration has a requirement for the efficient and
effective administration and control of the work involved in providing
the services necessary to operate, maintain, and enhance the OSHANET.
The OSHANET components encompass the cable plant, servers (file,
database, and WEB), desktop and laptop computers (or nodes) attached to
the cable plant, printers on either a server or PC, and any other
device connected to the cable plant, PC, or server. OSHANET services
include E-mail, Internet, client server, communications, remote
administration, software distribution to servers, personal computers
and mainframe access. The Government has not yet determined whether one
or two awards will be made. The proposed contract(s) is/are a 100% set
aside for 8(a) concerns. The applicable SIC code is 7379 and the small
business size standard is $18 million. The period of performance will
be one year, and the Government will have the option of renewing the
contract(s) for three one-year periods. Offerors must submit written
requests for the solicitation, and those requests must reference the
solicitation number (RFP L/A 99-13). Requests may be faxed to (202)

Government will consider proposals from all qualified 8(a) concerns.
