V -- REQUEST FOR INDUSTRY COMMENTS ON THE NASA LAUNCH SERVICES (NLS) DRAFT REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) AND GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS GENERAL COMMENTS ON THE NASA LAUNCH SERVICES (NLS) DRAFT RFP AND INSTRUCTIONS The accompanying linked files are provided to industry for general review and comment and represent the draft Request for Proposal (RFP) and Statement of Work (SOW) requirements for the upcoming NLS acquisition. All firms interested in this acquisition are invited to review the accompanying documents and provide comments to NASA by 9:00 AM EDT on May 10, 1999. NASA may incorporate industry comments in part or in whole into future releases of the RFP and SOW. In particular, NASA is interested in industry comments regarding: 1. Any areas in the draft RFP and SOW where the instructions, evaluation criteria, terms and conditions, and requirements are ambiguous, unclear, incomplete, or restrictive. 2. Any alternate approaches to the general format and structure of the draft RFP and attached documents and exhibits. 3. Any areas where requirements or services in the draft RFP and SOW can be better defined or described by commercial practices and result in a lower price to the Government. The Government is not soliciting proposals at this time.
