E-MAIL: Kelly Curtin, NONE. This is Amendment 0001 for Solicitation No. USSS990033 regarding revisions made in the Scope of Work, as contained in the original Solicitation. Revision #1: Insert three hundred sixty (360) in lieu of three hundred eighty (380) in regard to the approximate number of barricades to be used. Revision #2: "No turning of trucks" has been amended to allow "one turn only". Revision #3: Barriers may be provided to accommodate one turn of trucks in lieu of all barriers being provided at one time. Revision #4: A minimum of eighteen (18) trucks, in lieu of twenty (20) to (30) trucks, will be required. Revision #5: Lifting equipment, capable of lifting and moving barricades, must have the capability of reaching all setting points of the barricades. The minimum reach of 40 feet is deleted. Lifting equipment will be required to travel on sidewalk to place barricades in position at front of steps at American History Museum. Revision #6: Reflectors and warning lights/markings for the barricades are not mandatory. Revision #7: Contractor is not responsible for traffic control. Traffic control will be the responsibility of the U.S. Secret Service and/or other authorities. Revision #8: The Plan, to be submitted by the Contractor, at the minimum, shall include approximate times for movement of all supplies and equipment and drawings/maps for placement of temporary concrete barricades, trucks and/or cranes. Revision #9: Barriers to be placed beginning at 7:00 P.M., in lieu of 8:00 P.M., on evening of April 22, 1999, and shall be completed by no later than 4:00 A.M., in lieu of 3:00 A.M., on morning of April 23, 1999. Revision #9: Demobilization shall not commence before 6:00 P.M. on April 25, 1999, and must be completed by 3:00 A.M., on morning of April 26, 1999, in approximately nine (9) hours, in lieu of seven (7) hours.
