215-656-6776!! Contract consists of maintenance dredging of the
following Ranges of the Delaware River channel from stations 117+000 to
237+000: Marcus Hook, Cherry Island, Deepwater Point, and New Castle.
Dredging will be performed to a depth of 35' to 45' plus 1' allowable
overdepth limited by a vertical plane through the required depth
contour. Dredging will be required to a distance of 25' outside the
channel limits. The following disposal areas will be available for this
work: Pedricktown North, Pedricktown South, Oldmans, Killcohook,
Artificial Island, National Park, and Penns Neck. One copy of the plans
and specifications will be furnished on CD-ROM to each bidder at no
charge. Additional copies will be furnished at a charge of $5.00 each.

USACE Finance Center, Millington to the above address. All requests for
a solicitation package should be in writing and sent to the attention
of Karen Van Giesen. Requests may also be faxed to 215-656-6780 or

fax number, Federal Tax Identification Number and business size. Your
firm's Federal Tax Identification Number must be written on the check.
Personal checks must be annotated with the individual's SSN. Payment
will not be refunded and specifications need not be returned. Bidders
will be responsible for hard copies. Issue date for solicitation
documents will be on or about 4 May 1999 with a bid opening date on or
about 3 June 1999 at 11:00 A.M. Completion time for the project is 180
calendar days. Estimated cost range of the project is $1,000,000 to
$5,000,000. Award of the contract will be made as a whole to one
bidder. Liquidated damages will be specified. Affirmative action to
ensure equal employment opportunity is applicable to the resulting
contract. This is an unrestricted acquisition. The SIC code is 1629 and
