Marshall, Contracting Officer The work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment to construct the BEQ Rehabilitation -- Building 856, including site work, concrete work, masonry, metals, woods and plastics, thermal and moisture protection, doors and windows, finishes, specialties, furnishings, mechanical, electrical, and incidental related work. Buildings 855 and 852 are Option Items. During performance of this work, asbestos, hazardous waster, or pollution abatement may be encountered. The proposed procurement is Unrestricted. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1522. The related small business size standard is $17 million. The Estimated Construction Cost is More than $10,000,000. Contract Completion Date is approximately 15 MAY 2000. The contract will be awarded on "Best Value" using the criteria outlined in the solicitation. Price and Technical Factors are approximately equal in weight. The Government intends to issue this solicitation through the use of CD-ROM and the Internet.
