Solicitation F11623-99-T0695 is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for a
Multimedia Projection System to include Video Teleconference (VTC)
Capability. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation;
request for quotations are being requested and a written solicitation
will not be issued. Solicitation F11623-99-T0695 is issued as a request
for quotation (RFQ). Services Non Personal: Furnish all labor,
equipment, materials, supplies, transportation and testing required to
equip the HQ AMC/HC Conference Room (326) with Multimedia Projection
System to include Video Teleconference (VTC) Capability. The work area
is located in Building 1910, Room 326 on Scott AFB IL. A site survey
shall be conducted prior to any work commencing to determine
feasibility of work covered under this contract. Request projector be
aesthetically/sleekly and operationally ceiling mounted to include
testing and adjusting if required by a certified technician to ensure
that the system is performing at maximum operability, providing the
best quality projection image possible. Request that the electric
screen be aesthetically and operationally ceiling mounted to include
testing and adjusting if required by a certified technician to ensure
that the system is performing at maximum operability, providing the
best quality viewing image possible. The system shall be configured to
accept input from and produce output to contractor provided VCR,
Theater Sound System and previously installed Cable TV and other
contractor/user provided equipment. The contractor shall integrate all
of the output signals from the VTC unit to the overhead projector
display/screen, VCR, room speakers, and any other electronic device
related to the conference room. The contractor shall integrate all
cameras, microphone, VCR, any other electronic equipment with an
electronic output signal to the VTC. The contractor shall furnish and
install Monitor, Wireless Keyboard w/Track-ball, Camera,
Software/Hardware and shall configure the setup and installation. The
contractor furnished and installed Video Cassette Player/Recorder shall
be capable of recording video input from the contractor
furnished/installed camera with audio input from contractor
furnished/installed microphones. The VCR shall be capable of recording
video input from user provided computer (i.e. slide show presentation)
with audio, VCR shall be capable of recording VTC and VCR shall be
remote controllable. The contractor shall provide total integration of
all the equipment. The system shall be tested and deemed operational.
All equipment provided, connected, installed, or otherwise supporting
the system shall become the property of the U.S. Government. This
includes all components, ancillary equipment, cables, connectors, and
other items necessary to provide a fully integrated system. All
installation/work shall be warranted for at least 365 days. All
equipment warranties shall be provided upon completion of work. Wiring
diagrams shall be provided for future reference within 30 days after
completion of the work. Work shall not commence until contractor
provided equipment is delivered and inventoried Provision at 52.212-1,
Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition.
Provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, applies to this
acquisition. The Government will award a contract resulting from this
solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the
solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. The
following factors shall be used to evaluate quotations; (i) price (ii)
technical (iii) past performance, offerors must provide a minimum of
three references with same/simiar type work that's in the solicitation.
All evaluation factors other than cost/price, when combined, are equal
to cost/price. Offerors must include a copy of the provision at
52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications -- Commercial
Items, with their quotation. Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and
Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Addenda:
All installation/work shall be warranted for at least 365 days. All

or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.

to this acquisition. NOTE: A site visit is scheduled for Monday 3 May
99 at 1:30pm Central Standard Time at HQ AMC/HC, Building 1910, Room
326. It is highly recommended that offerors attend the scheduled site
visit prior to submitting the request for quotation (RFQ). The closing
date for the request for quotations (RFQ) is Monday 17 May 99 at
3:00pm Central Standard Time. Late quotations will not be accepted.
Facsimile quotes will be accepted. Contract award cannot be made to any
contractor who is not enrolled in the Department of Defense (DOD)
Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Program. See Numbered Notes 25.
