A -- UNDERWATER EXPLOSION SHOCK TESTING SOL N00167-99-Q-0269 DUE 043099 POC Brian White 301-227-1867 The Carderock Division, Naval Surface Warfare Centers, Underwater Explosion Research Division (UERD) will be conducting underwater shock tests of the Navy's LDP-17 SSES Raft.The goal of this program is to enable the use of Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) equipment in a shipboard environment. Equipment protection is to be accomplished by shock isolating individual ship spaces vice isolating or hardening individual pieces of equipment.
