A-76 COST COMPARISON STUDY OF THE HOUSEHOLD GOODS (HHG) AT THE FLEET AND INDUSTRIAL SUPPLY CENTER (FISC), PEARL HARBOR, HAWAII. An A-76 cost comparison study is being conducted on the HHG function at FISC Pearl Harbor, HI in accordance with the OMB Circular A-76 Cost Comparison procedures. The contractor shall provide the managerial, administrative, supervisory, direct and indirect (overhead) personnel to accomplish all required functions under the Personal Property Department(PPD)and the Joint Personal Property Shipping Office(JPPSO).The PPD provides counseling and claims processing for household goods shipment for authorized Navy military and civilian personnel. The JPPSO provides centralized personal property inbound/outbound traffic management, movement of household goods/unaccompanied baggage and quality control functions relative to movement and storage of personal property for all military services and Coast Guard personnel in Hawaii and American Samoa. If as a result of the solicitation a contractor is awarded the contract and not the Government, a firm-fixed price contract will be awarded. The performance period will be from on or about 01 April 2000 through 30 September 2000 with four (4) 12-month option periods. The Government intends to include clause FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services in the solicitation.
