S -- FULL FOOD SERVICES SOL RFP-7187 POC Almeta A. Dixon, Contract Specialist, (202) 324-0566 The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is issuing a solicitation for full food services for the operation at the FBI Academy, located on the United States Marine Corps reservation at Quantico, Virginia. The current approximate daily population at the FBI Academy campus is 2,300. Food service will initially be required at four (4) separate locations on campus as set forth in RFP-7187. Over the period of this contract the number of food service locations will increase to five (5) and the campus daily population will exceed 3,000. The contractor shall be responsible for providing all food for the staff, students and guests at the FBI Academy. The contractor shall also be responsible for providing all administrative management, supervision, labor, meal planning, ordering of food products, unloading, storage, preparation, serving, clean up and facility maintenance in accordance with the criteria set forth in RFP-7187. The Government contemplates the award of a Fixed Price type contract as a result of thesolicitation. Contingent upon the availability of funds, the contract period will be for one (1) calendar year from the date of award, with four (4) one (1) year option renewals. The tentative release date for the RFP is 5/10/99. All interested parties should submit a written request for RFP-7187, postmarked no later than 15 days from the date of this notice.
