SOL 51ABNA900052 DUE 061599 POC Paul Spizzirri (206) 526-6494/FAX (206) 526-6025 Work to be perfomed consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct infrastructure for the currently under construction NMFS Santa Cruz Laboratory in Santa Cruz, CA. Infrastructure construction includes sanitary sewer system, storm water infiltration/detention system, and domestic water supply system. The sanitary sewer system consists of approximately 550 meters of sanitary sewer with a 100mm forced main from a new lift station and a 200mm gravity main which flows to the municipal sewer system. Sanitary sewer depths vary from approximately 1-5 meters in depth. Storm water system includes a duplex pumped lift station which pumps to a nearby wetland. Domestic water system consists of a 250mm PVC main line connecting to a nearby existing supply main. A stanby generator will support the new lift stations with main power provided by a new transformer connecting into existing utility lines. The plans and specifications utilize the International System of Units (SI) metric equivalent measurements. Estimated construction cost is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Project completion time is estimated to be 120 calendar days after notice to proceed. Notice-To-Proceed date is expected to be August 2, 1999. Bid documents will be available at no charge on or about May 17, 1999, at the DOC/NOAA/WASC, address listed above. A pre-bid/site visit conference is planned for May 26, 1999 at 0900 A.M.
