The work consists of preparing and painting the exterior surfaces of this 150 foot tall skeleton structure. Structural repairs includes the replacement of clamps on the connection nodes at the first level above the water line and the replacement of several tension rod turnbuckles. Other work items include the selective refurbishment and painting of interior items and the replacement of the lantern room windows. The estimated price range is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Estimated bid opening date is August 1999. Bid bond, payment and performance bonds are required.
