The US Army Communications-Electronics Command, Battlefield Electronics Communications Directorate in conjunction with Research Development and Engineering Center, Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate (I2WD) are seeking sources to ascertain the availability of commercial off the shelf (COTS), cellular handset demonstration and evaluation boards. We also seek small amounts of evaluation chipsets and the required documentation to breadboard the chips. Also, any software development kits to help explore the operating characteristics of the evaluation products would be required. Those companies who feel that they can deliver COTS products to the above performance specifications should express their interest by submitting sufficient costs, warranty, quantity discounts and terms and conditions of doing business.
