The Defense Meteorological Satellite Program (DMSP) is seeking qualified contractors to design, develop, and produce a Solar Analyst Workstation (SAWS). This Solar Analyst Workstation will provide remote command and control of four Solar Electro-Optical Observing Network (SEON) sites to allow manipulation of data and imagery for analysis, generate warning, alert, and other products, while interacting with the Space Environment Operations Center database. This effort is anticipated to be predominately software rehost and the development of display and analysis tools. A single end-item is anticipated consisting of multiple hardware and software components. The initial synopsis was published in the CBD dated 12 Mar 1999, which is located in the U.S. Government Procurements Section -- Supplies, Equipment, and Material.
