(i) This is an "amended" combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format listed in FAR Subpart 12.603 as supplemented with additional information included with this notice. This announcement constitutes the only amendment; quotations are being requested and a written amended solicitation will not be issued. (ii) original solicitation DAHA3399T6069 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). (iii) This amended solicitation incorporates clauses and provisions in effect though the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-11. (iv)Line Item 0002 -- The requirement for 800 tons of Crushed Limestone #2 can be substitued with an equal mixture of 800 tons of Crushed Limestone #1 and Crushed Limestone #2. No other mixture will be accepted as an equal substitute.(v)Offerers must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the hour and date specified in the solicitation by one of the following methods: acknowledging receipt on each copy of the offer submitted; by a separate letter or fax which includes a reference to the solicitation and amendment numbers. Failure to acknowledge to the place designated for the receipt of offers prior to the hour and date may result in rejection of your offer.
