This contract shall cover XPS system,specimen stage,specimen introduction chamber, linear sample motion device, automatic valve control, computer interface, stage motor control, x-ray high voltage supply, x-ray source heat exchanger, x-ray source control, HP Apollo computer workstation, ion gun, gun control, pico-ammeter, HP Laserjet II printer, XPS control-single polarity, ion gauge control, position sensitive detector preamplifier, position sensitive detector power supply board, stage motor, neutralizer, neutralizer control, single channel analyzer, ion pump control, three turbopump controllers, three turbopumps, three roughing pumps, x-ray monochromator, one Mg-Al dual anode x-ray source, one Al-Al dual anode monocromatic x-ray source and sample viewing camera. This service contract shall be for a one year period. It shall include a minimum of one preventive maintenance visit, unlimited emergency visits by a qualified Service Engineer, all parts including consumables replaced at Contractor's expense, all optics repairs at Contractor's expense, no-cost technical phone support, free OEM manufactured loaner equipment for all components of the Physical Electronics 5400 System covered under this service contract, free repair services for all components of the Physical Electronics 5400 System, no cost Physical Electronics software upgrades, 250 day per year coverage and average 48 hour response time.
