COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF APRIL 22,1999 PSA#2330INTELLIGENCE, SURVEILLENCE, AND RECONNAISANCE (ISR) IN ARMY XXI (2010)
TECHNOLOGY SYMPOSIUM DESC: The US Army Intelligence Center and Fort
Huachuca (USAIC&FH), Fort Huachuca, Arizona extends an invitation to
industry, as presented in the 8 April 99 ISR Symposium (part of the
Fort Huachuca Advanced Planning Briefing to Industry), to extend their
ideas on ISR Integration. Responses may address, but are not limited
to, the following enablers: (1) Enroute and on-the-move-intelligence;
(2) Enhanced ISR processing capabilities; (3) Dynamic collection
management; (4) Urban and difficult terrain sensors; (5) Change
detection; (6) Real time targeting; (7) Unattended ground sensors; (8)
Technology for ground reconnaissance; and (9) Common relevant picture.
Responses may be submitted electronically but must arrive no later than
1700 hours, 7 June 1999. Idea descriptions must be no more than 5 text
plus 5 graphics pages. However, existing background commercial
brochures may be included in the submission. All materials become the
property of the government upon submission. Upon review of these
responses, the Intelligence Center may select certain industry
participants to conduct an on-site briefing to government experts in
the late June to early July time frame. No aspect of this market
survey, to include idea submission and presentation, should be deemed
as a formal solicitation and any submission or briefing will be done at
no direct cost to the government. Industry interested in partnering
with the Intelligence Center in "developing the requirements" for the
ISR Vision in 2010 should consider responding. POC for submission is
