X-RAY SUPPLIES; REQUEST FOR INFORMATION The VA Mid-Atlantic Healthcare Network is looking to issue a solicitation which combines the requirements of the VA Medical Centers located in North Carolina, Virginia, and Beckley, West Virginia for x-ray supplies. Supplies include but are not limited to barium products, CT supplies, filing supplies, protective supplies (patients and employees), x-ray screens and cassettes, dark room supplies (excluding film and solutions), and MRI supplies. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT: A SOLICITATION IS NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. The VA is seeking information from vendors demonstrating their capabilities to provide the above referenced supplies to this network of hospitals. A briefing will be held on May 11th at 10:00am at the VA Medical Center Asheville, NC. Lists of types and anticipated quantities of supplies required will be issued at this briefing. Any organization interested in attending this briefing should provide a notice of intent to attend to the address above. The VA is issuing this Request For Information as a vehicle for industry to provide recommendations/comments on providing x-ray supplies to this network in the most economical means possible.
