TECHNICAL LANGUAGE CONFERENCE, U.S. ARMY INTELLIGENCE CENTER, FORT HUACHUCA, AZ The US Army Intelligence Center and Fort Huachuca will host a technical language conference 20-22 October 1999. The purpose of the conference will be to bring together in a conference and workshop format military, industry, and academic technical language experts with their ideas, concepts, projects, and working models. The conference will be presented through lecture, discussion, and workshops. All participation will be at no cost to the government. There will be a minimal conference attendance fee. The theme is to raise the level of technical language proficiency of military linguists through development of task-based technical language programs.
