The Peerless Plating Site is a Federal Superfund Site listed on the National Priorities List. As part of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Response Action Contract in EPA Region V, Tetra Tech EM Inc. intends to award a subcontract to complete groundwater remedial construction activities. The project consists of installing and operating a groundwater collection and treatment system. The system includes six extraction wells and associated piping to deliver groundwater to a pre-engineered treatment building. The treatment unit processes consist of air stripping, metal precipitation with ferric chloride, lime and polymer, sedimentation, solids dewatering, and effluent neutralization prior to discharge to the receiving stream. The project includes a 60-day performance test prior to acceptance. Interested offerors are invited to request in writing the contract bidding documents. A non-refundable $50 check made payable to Tetra Tech EM Inc. for each set of contract bidding documents must accompany all written requests for contract bidding documents.
