Work includes, but is not limited to earthwork, site utilities, and site improvements, paving, landscaping and irrigation. Work also includes concrete foundations and slab-on-grade, concrete tilt-up panels, steel structure, steel joists and decking, roof membrane over roof insulation, sheet metal, metal stud partitions, insulation, gypsum board walls and ceilings, ceramic tile, acoustical ceilings, resilient flooring, carpeting, carpentry, painting, metal doors, wood doors, metal frames, door hardware, sectional overhead doors metal fabrications, toilet partitions and accessories, signage, lockers, loading dock equipment, security systems, electrical, and heating, ventilting, and air conditioning complete and ready for use, in accordance with the plans and specifications. The site is located on the corner of Westech Road and State Highway 18 in Shawnee. Estimated cost range $1,300,000 -- $1,400,000 and construction time is 180 calendar days. Successful offeror must submit their Subcontracting Plan for Small and Minority-Owned, and Woman-Owned Business initially and thereafter with their progress payment requests. The contractor must subcontract with minority business firms in an amount aggregating not less than 10% and subcontract with woman-owned business firms in an amount not less than 7% of the total value of its subcontracts. Offeror must include documentation from bonding agent indicating offeror's capability at time offer is due. The successful contractor will be required to provide 100% Performance and 50% Payment Bonds within forty-eight (48) hours after notification of award. Offers will be received in this office, prior to, but not later than 3:30 p.m. on May 11, 1999.
