Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment and performing all work in strict accordance with those specifications, schedules and drawings forming parts thereof, for the snack bar renovation. The project requires the removal of existing counters, walls, and associated electric and plumbing. The project requires the removal of the existing asbestos floor tile. The existing electrical panel will be removed and replaced with a new panel. An additional electrical panel will be added. The project includes replacement of a drop gate and the fire extinguishing system above the grill. The contractor will build or purchase new counters and replumb and rewire as necessary. The contractor will purchase and install new restaurant equipment. The equipment will be separately priced in the bid. Existing equipment will be relocated into the layout. The contractor will construct several new wallsand enclose columns. The contractor will install new tile flooring, paint and wallpaper the snack bar area. Work shall be performed by a general contractor who has experience in restaurant renovations. All work is to be accomplished in strict accordance with applicable NIMA, EPA, NFPA and OSHA requirements. The total performance period for this project is 75 days. The actual construction period shall be 45 days. The contractor shall be required to perform a certain amount of work on premium time, and the project will be phased, to reduce disruption of Government services. The approximate cost of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The facility is located at the National Imagery and Mapping Agency, 3200 South Second Street, which is east of Broadway and south of Arsenal Street in south city of St. Louis.
