This is a combined synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation and quotes are solicited with this notice. The quotation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-11. The Television-Audio Support Activity proposes to procure: the removal of the existing theatrical lighting system and engineering, furnishing, installation, testing and training for a replacement professional theatre lighting system. The replacement system shall include lighting console, stage and house lighting dimmer racks, dimmer modules, control modules, lighting instruments, including, but not limited to: cyclorama lights, ellipsoidal, parcs, spots, and all house lighting and electrical cabling, connector, and receptacle boxes. Removal and installation of the lighting system (performance) is scheduled for January 26 through February 19, 2000. Place of performance is United States Army War College, Carlisle Barracks, Carlisle, PA. A pre-quotation on-site survey of the installation site is scheduled for May 19, 1999, 1:00 PM, EDT.
