Grants Office, 2920 Brandywine Road, Colgate Building, Atlanta, Georgia
30341-4146 D -- CONTINUATION OF DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT SERVICES FOR ACQUISITION
MANAGEMENT AUTOMATION SYSTEM (AMAS) SOL 1999N00133 DUE 061599 POC C.
Renee Gavel, Contract Specialist, (770) 488-2812 The Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award a sole source
contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Bay Technologies
Consulting Group, Inc., Annapolis, MD to continue its work in
customizing the Acquisition Management Automation System (AMAS), a
proprietary system, for CDC's use. This effort involves a continuation
of work begun under Contract N0060094. The AMAS system is designed to
carry out each phase of the Federal acquisition process, from the
generation of the end user's requirement to contract management and
administration. CDC's implementation of AMAS is in four separate
modules designed to accomplish specific tasks within the acquisition
process. The contract contemplated by this action will include AMAS
customization for the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) Module
and the Request For Contract (RFC) or large dollar requisitioning
Module, as well as on-going software support and maintenance. A one
year contract with three one year options is contemplated. Performance
requires familiarity with both the AMAS system itself and with
procurement procedures/issues which are unique to CDC. This notice is
not a request for offers from other sources. See Numbered Note 22.
