Corporation (FDIC) is looking for an integrated asset servicing
solution that advances FDIC's ability to meet current and future asset
servicing responsibilities. The FDIC is seeking information on
existing software and services that will provide all or part of the
solution. The FDIC is interested in vendors, Commercial Off-The-Shelf
Software (COTS) packages, and servicers that result in an integrated
solution. This may be a combination of these products and services.
Asset servicing is defined as financial and asset management
processing. Financial processing includes the recording of cash and
non-cash transactions and the maintenance of financial information.
Asset management includes monitoring and performing activities such as
collections, foreclosures, asset valuations, settlements, and sales
initiatives. The integrated solution must have the capability to
provide access to detailed historical records of the FDIC's asset
servicing transactions and asset management activities. Assets to be
supported by this solution include, but are not limited to: loans
(commercial, residential, and consumer), owned real estate, securities,
judgements, deficiencies, charge-offs, investments in subsidiaries and
their assets, participations in assets or pools of assets, assets
serviced for others, and FDIC assets serviced by external parties.
