POC Pamela C. Wrentz, Contracting Officer, 202-307-3070 Provide
outpatient assessment and counseling services for substance abuse
treatment for male and female Federal offenders in the Liberty, Texas
area, held under the authority of various United States Statutes. A
Firm-Fixed Price-Requirements type contract is anticipated. Period of
performance is October 1, 1999 through September 30, 2000. This period
shall include services for 20 inmates as follows: intake assessment
(one per inmate), individual counseling (30 half-hour sessions per
inmate), group counseling (30 sessions, and family counseling (3-half
hour sessions)per inmate, respectively. All services shall be performed
in accordance with Transitional Services Statement of Work
"Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Substance Abuse Treatment,
dated May 1999". Proper licensing in the State of Texas is required.
The estimated issue date for the Request for Proposals (RFP) is May 5,
1999. The estimated closing date for the RFP is June 5, 1999. All
responsible sources may submit a proposal which shallbe considered by
