outpatient assessment and counseling services for substance abuse
treatment for male and female Federal offenders in the Northern
District of Texas, Abilene Division, held under the authority of
various United States Statutes. A Firm-Fixed-Price-Requirements type
contract with a two year base period and three option years is
anticipated. Services for the base period of October 1, 1999 through
September 30, 2001 shall include services for 44 inmates as follows:
One intake assessment per inmate, 48 half-hour individual counseling
sessions per inmate, 24 half-hour group counseling sessions per inmate
and two family counseling sessions per inmate. Services for Option
Year One for the period October 1, 2001 through September 30, 2002,
Option Year Two for the period October 1, 2002 through September 30,
2003 and Option Year Three for the period October 1, 2003 through
September 30, 2004 shall include services for 22 inmates for each
option year as follows: one intake assessment per inmate, 48 half-hour
individual counseling sessions per inmate, 24 half-hour group
counseling sessions per inmate and two family counseling sessions per
inmate. All services shall be performed in accordance with the Bureau
of Prisons Statement of Work, "Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT)
(Non-Residential) Substance Abuse Treatment" dated May 1999. The
estimated issue date for the Request for Proposals(RFP) is May 24,
1999. The estimated closing date for RFPs is July 26, 1999. All
responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by
this agency. No collect phone calls will be accepted. No telephone
requests for this RFP will be accepted. ALL requests for RFP200-0513-SC
