Rigging and Moving Services to Relocate Shop 99, Mechanical Pipe
section from building 10 to building 299. Contractor to provide
Forklifts, Flatbed trucks and operators and any needed lifting
materials/equipment for this relocation. Typical items include but are
not limited to the following types of materials: Various sizes and
lengths of steel piping, various sizes and amounts of steel fitting
(pipe), gang boxes, wood and steel work benches. About 50 Vidmar
storage cabinets (full). Loose materials throughout the building that
will require packaging prior to movement packaging done by contractor.
Several open storage bins and shelving. Minimar standard office
furniture. Several pallets of heavy plastic, herculite, hoses,
manifolds, tanks, and materials shop 99 uses. Support includes any
insulation and pipe wrappings. Any miscellaneous remaining materials
not listed. Notes: site visit is mandatory by contractors. Shipyard POC
will be Ron Descoteaux, 207-438-5053. Building 10 has three (3) floors
with JIB hoist for material movement. Government may be required to
supply JIB hoist operator. Contractor will accomplish all packing.
Government will supply cardboard boxes, tape, shrink-wrap and pallets
on site only. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial
items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as
supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This
announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being
requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This
announcement/solicitation is issued as N00102-99-Q-2134 and
incorporates provisions and clauses effective through Federal
Acquisition Circular 97-11. This acquisition is reserved exclusively
for Small Business Concerns; the standard industrial classification
(SIC) code for this acquisition is 4213 and the small business size
standard is $18.5 million in annual receipts. The standard industrial
