X -- NOTICE OF INTENT TO NEGOTIATE A NON-COMPETITIVE PURCHASE ORDER FOR HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS SOL RIII-0099-001-MM POC Marie E. Murphy, Contracting Officer, 215-814-5303 EPA, Region III intends to negotiate a non-competitive purchase order with the Adam Marks Hotel, City Line Avenue, Philadelphia, Pa. for hotel accommodations, conference facility space and all associated audio visual equipment to support a National EPA Water Programs Planning meeting. There is a requirement that the hotel must be within close proximity to the Schuylkill River to facilitate a scheduled walking tour of the Belmont Drinking Water Treatment Plant and adjacent water intakes along the Schuylkill River. The scheduled dates for this conference are from July 11 through July 15, 1999. Negotiated lodging room rate to be within the Government per diem rate allotted for the Philadelphia, Pa. area. Approximately 250 lodging rooms are required the evening of 7-13-99 and 7-14-99. Other lodging requirements range from 20 rooms on the evening of 7-11-99, 100 rooms on the evening of 7-12-99 and a 150 room requirement on 7-15-99. Conference and break out room requirements include a general meeting room which comfortably must accommodate up to 350 people each day and four (4) breakout rooms each day to accommodate up to 70 people. All conference facilities are required each day. Parking must also be available for up to 350 cars.
