The Army requires a contract for the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment to repair concrete floors in bldgs 843, 844 and 845 at Hunter Army Airfield, GA. Work includes but is not necessarily restricted to: removing the contrete floor in Bldg 843; (20'X 10' approx); Bldg 844; (13'X 78'approx) with an offset; and Bldg 845; (21'X 34'approx). The floors will be saw cut using water for dust control and jackhammered to remove the concrete floors. Buildings will be occupied. Expansion joints will be 1/2" fiber board. Install 1/2" rebar 12" long with 6" into the side of the existing floor every 24" O.C. Install 1/2" rebar (criss cross design) in full lengths. The existing concrete is 6" thick and the depth of the new concrete shall be 8" thick. Dirt compaction to 98% and install 6 mil polyethylene. The new concrete will be 5000 psi with fiber, early compressive strength, cure in 7 days or less with a fine broom finish. The performance time is 60 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. SIC code for this project is 1771. Project is unrestricted, all responsible businesses may submit a bid. Magnitude of the project is between $25,000 and $100,000.
