to be compatible with VA-owned Marquette Solar 8000 Patient Bedside
Monitoring System: Item 1 -- 95 each Bedside monitor Microvitec
ECM1510DMS/NTS Solar 8000 Medical-grade 15" color display monitor to
include 15 Pin VGA Cable and screws for base for use in all VAMC
Intensive Care Units; Item 2 -- 27 each NEC MultiSync LCD1500M Flat
Panel Display 15" Monitor with 15 Pin Cable for use in OR; Item 3 -- 16
each Sony CPD-220GS Multiscan Computer Central Station Display Monitor
with 15 Pin Cable; Item 4 -- 8 each Sony CPD-520GS Surgery Slave
Display Monitor with 15 Pin Cable; and Item 5 -- 6 each Sony CPD-100GS
Triniton Graphic Display (Muse Workstation) Monitor with 15 Pin Cable.
"Equal" alternatives to the brand name units will be considered but
must fully comply with the brand name features, i.e., when a
characteristic is a design feature, such as size or weight, the "equal"
product must meet the requirement; if the characteristic is stated in
general terms, the "equal" may be functionally equivalent in meeting
that characteristic; if the characteristic is a precise performance
feature, the "equal" product must meet the precise requirement "Equal"
products will require demonstration to determine whether proposed unit
remains in the competition range for consideration of award.
Demonstrations will be subjectively evaluated. Evaluation factors will
include, but may not be limited to, technical quality and
compatibility, technical and operational reliability, medical grade
compliance, delivery, warranty, past performance and price/price
related factors. Some evaluation will be subjective in nature by Users
and Technical Panel. Descriptive Literature of products offered must
accompany solicitation and will be used to evaluate offers and
establish conformity with requirements. Completeness and sufficiency of
descriptive materials submitted will be a determining factor if offer
is to remain in the competitive range for consideration for award.
