The Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for the design, development, performance, analysis, and documentation of Space Science projects and the results of these research experiments. Including, creating and documentation of software. In addition, it will involve the design, fabrication, assembly, integration, test and operation of sophisticated scientific instruments and experimental payloads. The statement of work will be included with the solicitation. Offerors must have demonstrated experience and demonstrated ability to provide qualified personnel in performing the specified tasks. Prior to contract award, a contractor must have a Secret facility clearance, and personnel available with DoD personnel security clearances commensurate with level of access required for performance of the contract. The majority of tasks will be performed at the Naval Research Laboratory. The Government anticipates an award of a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) Level of Effort (LOE) contract. Period of Performance will be one (1) year with four (4) one-year options. The solicitation will close 30 days after the solicitation issuance date. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 8731.
